For the second week in a row, Rachel and Vincent were top of the judges leaderboard on Saturday night. They also became this first couple this year to get a perfect score. Each of the judges awarded them a perfect 10 for their Foxtrot.
Bruno felt "this dance was not close to you, it was close to heaven... bliss." Craig said "one word; fab-u-lous!" Len said "ever since the Jive a few weeks ago you've knocked my socks off" and Arlene's view was "I'm afraid... close to perfect, strictly, something special!"
At this point, Rachel and Vincent have become the highest scoring couple of the series with a total of 272 points (out of 320).
Welcome
Welcome to the temporary home of the S Club Heaven news blog. We've been having problems with my account after a hacking incident, but we wanted to have the site back online in time for Rachel's appearances on Strictly Come Dancing. So we will be reporting news and updates here until the problem can be fixed.

Jo injured at first reunion gig
It was a night to remember, almost. S Club members Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Paul Cattermole where not even fifteen minutes into their gig when someone threw glass object at Jo, who was then rushed to hospital to have her cuts treated. Bradley was not happy about the incident.
Aaron Mellor, managing director of Tokyo Industries, had came out and said that "my company owns ten venues across the UK and we had the S Club Tour at our Oldham site last week. The gig sold out so we immediately rebooked them for Bradford. The gig was going really well until one individual had to spoil the fun for everybody else. Jo, Bradley and Paul are the nicest people you could wish to work with, they are friendly and professional and I will be booking them in for my other sites during December. Jo was clearly very shocked by the event, as anybody would be, but her band mates were very supportive and totally cooperated with my staff and with the police”.
After the incident, Jo announced that she would continue with the tour. There are more dates going through into the summer.

Rachel in the dance off this week but saved by judges
On Saturday night Rachel and her partner Vincent performed an American Smooth. The judges awarded her a total of 35 points out of a possible 40 points. This put her in fourth place again, behind three other couples who all scored 36 points each.
Craig felt that "normally we see this as a foxtrot based dance - so I loved the fact you used this... so we got to see Rachel animated and you went up into a lovely lift." Arlene said "it was bright, lively, tricky footwork, so why wasn't it perfect for me? You don't use your eyes... you look gorgeous, but you need to find a story through your eyes." Len added "diamonds come in small packages and that was a gem of a performance." And Bruno said "it was Fred and Ginger for me tonight, so elaborate and demanding... you did that effortlessly."
Inspite of having the second highest score, the public were not backing Rachel this week. With the judges scores and the public votes added together, Rachel was one of the bottom two couples. That meant that she faced the dance off against Heather Small and her partner Brian. Fortunately all the judges chose to keep Rachel in the competition and unanimously voted for Heather to leave.
All the judges made it clear they were not happy that Rachel was in the dance off this week. Judge Craig said: "I think it's an absolute travesty that these two couples were in the bottom two and it proves that absolutely nobody is safe." Judge Bruno said: "I do understand that we do this show for the public but this is like being in the Twilight Zone." He was furious that better dancers got the lower votes from the public when contestant John Sargent scored just 12 points this week: "I'm spitting feathers. I'm appalled and disgusted. I don't understand it. It's a dancing competition."
So the judges are supporting Rachel, but the public aren't. If you are a fan of Rachel and want to see her keep seeing her on TV every day, please vote for her on Saturday night.

Jo, Bradley and Paul reunion tour
Three members of S Club 7 are reuniting to tour nightclubs and universities. Jo, Bradley and Paul are being paid about £3000 per events. "They've got some good songs so I'm sure they'll get bookings. Everyone deserves to make some cash in the credit crunch," said their promoter Terry Mills.
Rachel, Jon, Tina and Hannah turned down the offer to take part in the reunion tour.
We will have more details on events in this tour as soon as possible.

Rachel determined to impress judges this week
Rachel has been dwelling on the judges' comments from Saturday. Her Jive routine with partner Vincent failed to impress Len. However, the two are clearly determined to channel any frustration into their quest to wow the panel with this week's American Smooth.
Such positivity was on clear display in practice as the two got so carried away they danced right through the studio doors and out into the corridor! "Bravo, bravo, peccolino!" cries Vincent. "I'm fired up!" declared a steel-eyed Rachel.
